According to the Minister of Agriculture DumindaDissanayakefruits produced by the farmers under the project will be exported.

Addressing the program titled "Good Agricultural Practices" launched at Waters’ Edge in Battaramulla he pointed out the available international market opportunities for Sri Lanka's fruits and vegetables under this program. 25,000 female farmer associations will also be established parallel to the project.
