The event took place at Hanwella Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya, Don Bosco Vidyalaya, Kaluaggala, Hanwella Mayadunne Vidyalaya and Pahathgaha Roman Catholic Vidyalaya. More affected students in 38 other schools will also receive the same in future.

The project was implemented under the directions of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.

Army's Apparels also undertook the mission to sew uniforms for the flood affected students in Kolonnawa and Gothatuwa earlier.
