Department of Divineguma entering the new technology today (8th June) signed agreements to begin bill payment facilities through the Divineguma bank branches.
The agreements were signed with the Pay and Go Processing (Pvt) Ltd. Under the first step, 20 bank branches will be provided computerized equipment to begin bill payments, and mobile reloading facilities.
Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare S.B. Dissanayake, representatives from the Department of Divineguma and the Pay and Go Processing (Pvt) Ltd. were participated.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
