According Met Department, prevailing strong windy condition over the country is expected to continue, particularly over the Western slopes of the central hills and Southern province, and over the western and Southern sea areas.

“However, it is expected to reduce to a certain extent after 25th June”, the department said.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern and North- central provinces and in the Trincomalee district.

A few showers are also likely in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and North-Western provinces and in the Batticaloa district.
