Committee tasked to review the 2012 National Delimitation Committee Report is expected to complete the delimitation of ward boundaries and hand over its report on 31 August.
With the final report coming in, Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya confirms of having the Local Government polls within two months. Delimitation Review Committee Chairman Asoka Peiris has also assured that the Committee could handover the report before August 31.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
