Commanding Officer of the Australian naval ship, HMAS Perth, Captain Ivan Ingham called on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters yesterday (21). The Australian naval ship arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit on 19th June.
They held cordial discussions on issues of mutual interest and bilateral importance. Defence Adviser of the High Commission of Australia in Sri Lanka, Captain Jason Sears was also present on the occasion. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this event.
