Foreign Employment Bureau has taken steps introduce the Korean Language proficiency test via online system using the Internet. The new online system was introduced to overcome the shortcomings in the examination.
According to the Bureau, applications are now being issued for the Korean Language proficiency examination. Applications will close on June 23.
Applications will be called at Provincial Offices of the Bureau in Anuradhapura, Badulla, Kandy, Matara and Ratnapura, and at also at Training Institutes of the Bureau in Galle, Kadawata, Seeduwa, Tangalla, Kurunegala, Trincomalee, Vavuniya, Jaffna and Polonnaruwa.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
