Several spells of showers are expected today (14th June) in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western provinces.
According to the Met Department, a few showers also expected in the Mannar and Anuradhapura districts.
Showers or thunder showers are likely at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Strong winds could be expected at times over the country, particularly over Western slopes of the central hills and Southern province and over the Southern sea area.
