Special Investigation Division of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has conducted 56 raids during the first five months this year.
These raids conducted according to the instructions of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs.Thalatha Athukorala enabled SLBFE to take legal action against 50 cases.
Illegal Foreign Employment Agencies, attempting send younger women for foreign employments, making fake promises regarding foreign employments, and compiling fake documents were among the offenses.
