Met Department issuing the today (13th June) weather forecast expects shower or thundershowers at times in the Western, Southern, North-Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Heavy falls (about 100mm) are also likely at some places.
Showers or thunder showers are likely at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m. and a few showers are expected in the Northern and North-central provinces too.
Strong winds could be expected at times over the country, particularly over Western slopes of the central hills and Northern, North central and Eastern provinces.
