Several spells of Showers or thundershowers are expected today (10th June) in the Western, North-Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
According to the Met. Department, light showers are expected in the North-Central province.
Showers or thunder showers are also likely at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces, particularly after 2.00 p.m.
Strong winds could be expected at times over the country, particularly over Western slopes of the central hills and Northern, North central and Eastern provinces.
