Health Ministry has organised countrywide mobile services to visit Teaching Hospitals and solve problems of the hospital staff.
The first mobile service was held at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital and the second was held at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. The third mobile service will be held at the Badulla General Hospital.
President Maithripala Sirisena and Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne had ordered to grant funds for all provincial hospitals and develop them instead of taking them over by the central government.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
