Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most provinces except Northern and Eastern provinces today (29th April) after 2.00 pm, Met Department said.
A few showers also expected in the Eastern and South-Eastern coastal areas in the morning.
Temporary localized strong winds during the thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
