Top Sweden delegation headed by the Minster for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallstrom called on the Speaker of the Sri Lanka Parliament Karu Jayasuriya yesterday (25th April) at the Speaker’s official residence.
They held bilateral discussions on strengthening the both Parliamentary and diplomatic relationships. During the discussions a special attention on supporting the future development proceedings of Sri Lanka was also paid.
The Foreign Minister at this occasion recalled the personnel friendship remains with the Speaker for a long time.
The Sweden ambassador in Sri Lanka was also present.
