Inter-monsoon conditions are establishing over the island, according to the Met. Department.
Showers or thundershowers are expected at several places elsewhere today (4th April) after 2.00 p.m. except Eastern province.
Fairly heavy falls (above 50mm) are also likely at some places.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers also expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
