There will be an interruption to the water supply in several areas in Colombo for a duration of seven hours from 10.00 p.m. today (April 02) to 5.00 a.m. tomorrow (April 03) to facilitate essential improvements, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated.
The areas affected are Kotahena, Grandpass, Mutwal, Mattakkuliya areas along Baseline Road from Kelaniya Bridge to Dematagoda Junction and related byroads Sea Street and all by roads connected to it.
The Board which regretted the inconvenience caused to consumers has requested them to store water to tide over the situation.
