The legal aid camp is held as a part of the law week "You and Law," which is the signature project of the Rotaract Club of the Colombo Law Faculty.

The annual legal aid camp was held twice previously at Hikkaduwa with remarkable participation and as a result of the positive feedback received from the beneficiaries, this community service endeavour is continued for the 3rd consecutive year. The club sends an open invitation to the public to attend the event to obtain free legal advice for their legal issues.
