The crossing will be closed from 7pm. today (11) until 5am. tomorrow to construct a temporary crossing by removing layers of tar and soil.

Thereafter a section of the cross road will be closed from 7am. to 5pm. for 3-days effecive from Feb.12 to carry out full repairs.  The crossing will be completely closed from 10pm on Feb.14th until 5am. on the following day (15).

Accordingly, Sri Lanka Railways request the public to use alternate roads during the afore mentioned times.
