On arrival at the Palaly Airport, Secretary Hettiarachchi was warmly received by the tri forces Commanders, Commander SFHQ-J and Commander Northern Naval Area.

Secretary Hettiarachchi was accorded a guard of honour at the Security Forces Headquarters in Jaffna (SFHQ-J). Afterward, he was briefed on the duties and responsibilities of the security forces.

Secretary Hettiarachchi also discussed matters pertaining to land and resettlement issues in the Northern Province. Tri-forces Commanders, senior military officers, and senior state officials also attended the meeting held at District Secretary office in Jaffna.
