    NCCSL, Central Bank to hold a Seminar on Business Development

    The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and the Central Bank will hold a seminar on 'Procedures, Policies and Facilities for Business Development' on Thursday, January 28 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the National Chamber auditorium, D. R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10. The resource persons will be from the Central Bank

    The key objective of the seminar is to discuss how the Central Bank could improve business opportunities and help the business community in taking the correct decisions.

     

    The resource persons and the topics are:

     

    Director, International Operations, C. N. Wijayasekera on 'Exchange Rate Policy and Foreign Reserves Management', Deputy Director, Economic Research Department, Dr. C. Amarasekera - 'Economic Outlook and Growth Potential', Manager, Public Debt Department, S. Pathumanapan on 'Investments in Treasury Bills and Treasury Bonds'


    Senior Assistant Director, Regional Development Department, D. M. K. B. Dunuthilaka on 'The Role of Central Bank of Sri Lanka in promoting SMEs in Sri Lanka' and the loan schemes available for SMEs.

     

    A panel discussion will follow.

     

    The target audience would be businessmen, bankers, exporters and importers, CFOs, decision-makers and financial analysts.
