Widening the IT capabilities of the Department of Pensions, a new online software solution has been developed to enter arrears information.
Through this new service, officers of divisional secretariats can enter all arrears data through DS Portal. This new service is to start from February 01, 2016.
Accordingly, the Pensions Dpeartment has informed all officers at divisional secretariats to stop sending AR forms to head office manually.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
