Korean Ambassador in Sri Lanka Won Sam Wang and Minister W.D.J. Seneviratne have discussed the matter during a meeting. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Relations recently. They held talks on the strategies needed to create a productive labour force in the country.

Minister W.D.J. Senevitatne requested the Korean Ambassador to provide more training opportunities of Korean Government to local workers. He requested the Ambassador to provide assistance to ensure the rights and welfare of the workers. They discussed exchanging knowledge and experiences related to the labour force between the two countries.
