Deyata Kirula 2015 venues selected

Deyata Kirula Exhibition parallel to the Deyata Kirula Development Program 2014-2015 paving the way for rapid development in the Districts of Galle, Matara, Hambantota and Ratnapura will be hled in Kotawila, Matara in a land extent of 144 acres and at Mahinda Rajapaksa Vidyalaya premises in Meddawatta, Matara which has a land extent of 24 Acres.

Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Ranjith Siyambalapitiya at a media briefing held at the Matara District Secretary's Office on Monday (09), said that these two venues were selected on the instructions of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, .

Minister Siyambalapitiya said the intention of the government is to provide maximum benefits for the People of Matara through infrastructure development that will be carried out parallel to the exhibition.

Minster of Agriculture Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Investment Promotion Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma and Postal Services Deputy Minister Sanath Jayasruiya were among those present at the occasion. (KH/SI)
