Addressing the weekly Cabinet press briefing at the Government Information Department Auditorium yesterday, he said the journalists would be allowed to select a motorcycle of their choice.

Journalists who have served a minimum of five years and are citizens of Sri Lanka were eligible to apply for the loan scheme and a large number of applications have been received in this regard the Minister added.

The Media Ministry and the Finance Ministry has taken action to provide journalists with motorcycles at concessionary rates as per a government decision.
