As the funeral of the Ven Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera is scheduled to be held on November 12 with State honours, the Ministry of Finance has announced that the scheduled meeting of the Ease of Doing Business Forum will not be held on that day. The government has also declared Nov 12 as a Day of Mourning.
The Ease of Doing Business Forum organized by the Ministry of Finance to provide on the spot solutions to the problems faced by the investors and the business enterprises was to be held at 2.00 PM on Nov 12 at Miloda Centre in Colombo.
The new date of the fifth meeting of the Ease of Doing Business Forum will be notified later, the Finance Ministry said.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
