The exhibition is jointly organized by the Southern Province Rural Industries Ministry and the National Crafts Council to improve and develop the handloom industry in the Southern Province. The exhibition displaying traditional arts and crafts discloses the ancient prosperity of the Nation. It also paves way to provide craftsmen with a stage to express their skills to the world.

The exhibition will be held on Nov.4, 5 and 6 at the Galle Town Hall.

Southern Provincial Council People's Representatives including Provincial Council Minister Weerasumana Weerasinghe were present at today's opening ceremony.
