Diyawadana Nilame of Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy Pradeep Nilanga Dela has said that he hopes to hold an exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic in 2016.
He made this observation during a function organized to welcome him following his second term appointment as the Diyawadana Nilame.
The ceremony had been organized by Kandy Sinhala Traders Association. A large group of people including Kandy Mayor Mahen Ratwatte were present on the occasion.
He said that the exposition would be held under the guidance of Mahanayakas of Asgiri and Malwatta Chapters.
