Indo-Sri Lanka Joint Development Projects Gain Momentum
June 21, 2024In a significant diplomatic exchange, President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar led bilateral discussions at the President’s House yesterday (20). The joint energy projects between India and Sri Lanka took centre stage during these discussions.
Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, commenced his official visit to Sri Lanka with a significant meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President House in Colombo this morning (20).
The Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment is organizing the "Jayagamu Sri Lanka People's Mobile Service" program, scheduled in Ampara's "H.M Weerasinghe Ground" on June 22 and 23. This program aims to develop a generation of digitally savvy Sri Lankan laborers.
