SLASA officials to meet President to discuss Budget 2015

Members of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association (SLASA) are scheduled to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa theatre at 3.30 pm on Oct 26 to discuss the measures to be taken in order to implement the proposals of the budget 2015, a statement issued by the SLASSA said yesterday.

Around 1,500 SLAS officials would attend this meeting focussed on how to provide relief to people as proposed in the budget.

The SLASA statement, signed by its Secretary P.P.S.R. de Silva said the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs W.D.J. Seneviratne, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Planning Dr P.B. Jayasundara and Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration P.B. Abeykoon would attend the meeting. (Special Reporter/HC)
