    Every possible measure will be taken to safeguard the lives of all Sri Lankans from COVID-19 and Sri Lanka will take strict actions to make sure that COVID-19 does not spread in Sri Lanka, said Health and Indigenous Medicine, women and Children’s Affairs and Social Security Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.

    The INNOTECH 2020 technology and innovation exhibition, the country’s first national technology and innovation exhibition was declared open by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Minister Bandula Gunawardena at the technology hub in Pitipana, Homagama today.

    The government has appealed to the general public to assist them in their efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Sri Lanka. Currently, it has spread in many countries and various steps have been taken to control its spread.

    Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau issuing a statement yesterday requested the Sri Lankan migrant workers to postpone their traveling schedules considering the Covid-19 outbreak.
