The Chief Incumbent of Maharagama Siri Vajiragnana Dharmayathanaya and Senior Advisor of the Supreme Council of the Amarapura Dharmarakshitha Maha Nikaya, Most Venerable Ampitiye Rahula Maha Thero (106) passed away this morning.

Sri Lanka Navy apprehended eleven (11) Indian fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan territorial waters and three trawlers belonging to them, on 15^th February 2020.

During a search operation carried out on 15th February 2020, Navy recovered 09 unauthorized fishing nets, at Kannankuda lagoon area in Batticoloa.

International Military Sports Council (CISM) Day Run is organized annually by member countries of International Military Sports Council to celebrate its anniversary worldwide.
