The sports complex which boasts to have three separate grounds is estimated to complete at a cost of Sri Lankan rupees 325 million.
According to the design, the complex will be able to hold practice sessions of all sports importantly cricket, rugby, football and athletics. An eight-lane 400 meter sprint strip in accordance to the international standards is set to emerge according to a communiqué released by the Ministry of Sports.
The complex will hold a combined capacity crowd of over 10000 spectators and will also include a swimming pool.
