The President speaking during the ceremony said that the government is committed to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana and promote all Buddhist activities. He emphasised that.advices and guidance given by the members of the Maha Sangha to the rulers of this country became a great strength to them. and that the present government also considers the advices and guidance of the Maha Sagha as a noble measure.
