The President addressing the university lecturers and the staff at Temple Trees on Monday said the country is presently marching towards a streamlined development process. He said that the government is dedicated for good governance and to prevent corruption and malpractices. The President said that the people of the country gave him a mandate in 2005 to end the 30 year long war and enthrone peace in the country. He pointed out that that he did it in 3 years.

The President also stated that people of this country are intelligent enough not to be carried out by false propaganda and patriotic people have come forward to support the future development process devoid of petty differences.

HIgher Education Minister S.B.Dissanayake and Deputy Minister Nandamithra Ekanayake were present.(KH)
