President Briefs SLAS Officers on Budget 2015 ^Featured

The government has strengthened and streamlined the state service to obtain the maximum benefit for the country and the people, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said. He further emphasised that the benefits of the budget proposals could be reached to the people only if the government servants are committed to realize them.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa was addressing a gathering of Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) officers at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Sunday (26) on the Budget 2015 proposals.

Among participants were Ministers Basil Rajapaksa, W.D.J.Senevirathna, Deputy Minister Wijaya Dahanayake, President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, Cabnet Secretary Sumith Abeysinghe, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath, Public Administration Secretaru P.B.Abeykoon, President of Sri Lanka Administrative Services Association, Colombo District Secretary Kamal Padmasiri.
