President made these remarks when SAARC Secretary General Arjun B Thapa called on him at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (22nd April).
The cultural center is being constructed at an 8-acre land. President also inquired into the progress of the constructions.
Secretary General Thapa pointed out the possibility available for Sri Lanka to obtain financial assistance to the tune of US Dollars 1 million to US Dollars 1.5 million for any project from the SAARC Development Fund.
The SAARC Secretariat Will launch publications on Buddhist Trail shortly and it would be followed by publications on religious worship trails of Hindu, Muslim and Christianity too.
