It is expected to construct necessary buildings for the establishment of a separate centre for the rehabilitation of drug addicted persons to be useful citizens through counseling, religious and aesthetic activities, educational activities, vocational training and sports.

Ministry of Rehabilitation of Prison Reforms is engaged in rehabilitation of drug addicted persons and socializing them as useful citizens through Bureau of Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, as one of its objectives. By establishment of a separate center for drug addicted it is expected to reduce huge congestion in prisons and remove the threat of familiarizing them to criminal culture by mingling with terrible criminals as well as to socialize those persons as useful citizen through counseling, religious events, aesthetic activities, educational activities, vocational trainings and sports.

Consequently, it is planned to construct 36 number of 100' x 20' extent buildings for hostels within this, year under the development process which is started under the ground of enrolling 3000 rehabilitees at the end of the year 2014 for that treatment and rehabilitation center.
