The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Major General (Retd) Syed Shakeel Hussain presented Certificates of Merit to the students for rendering meritorious service for the Pakistan Sri Lanka friendship Anthem.
The premier Anthem praising Pakistan Sri Lanka enduring friendship was launched in Urdu, Sinhala & Tamil languages for the first time in January 2016 in the gracious presence of Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif & Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickramasinghe in Colombo.
The veteran Sri Lankan broadcaster, media consultant and Chairman Kashmir Study Forum Sri Lanka, Mohamed Jamaludeen had written and composed the Pakistan Sri Lanka friendship Anthem.
