Press Release : Sinking of an Indian Trawler while poaching in Northern waters of Sri Lanka
August 02, 2024Having spotted Indian fishing trawlers poaching in Sri Lankan waters off the Delft Island, Jaffna, the Sri Lanka Navy deployed its craft in the dark hours of 31st July 2024 to prevent poaching by those trawlers.
Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena urged the South Asian entrepreneurs to focus on innovative new products and services to enhance regional economic cooperation.
To fully address the water problem in the north, the “River for Jaffna” project will commence immediately
