President Meets SAARC Secretary General
June 12, 2024President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with SAARC Secretary General Golam Sarwar at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (12). The meeting focused on addressing issues related to various projects among SAARC countries, with the President urging impartial intervention from the Secretary General.

The Chair of the Committee on Public Finance Hon. (Dr.) Harsha de Silva directed that a letter be sent to the Hon. Minister of Finance requesting for his immediate attention regarding the matter.
