    The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mumbai which arrived in Sri Lanka on 26th August 2024, departed the island today (29th August), on successful completion of her formal visit. The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship at the Colombo port, following naval traditions.

    HC Santosh Jha handed over 1st payment for Hybrid Power Projects in Delft, Nainativu and Analaitivu islands to Secretary, Ministry of Power and Energy, Dr Sulakshana Jayawardena and Chairman, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA).

     

    • If renegotiation occurs, Sri Lanka risks losing between USD 1.2 – USD1.3 bn from December – January.
