    In a significant move towards infrastructural development, the Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media, Dr. Bandula Gunawardena, announced today that the renovation of dilapidated rural roads across the island nation is set to commence next week.

    The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) has contributed a total of Rs.07 billion to the NTreasury this year, with a formal presentation of a Rs.04 billion cheque was presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe by the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara, yesterday afternoon (29) at the Presidential Secretariat.

     


    A group of 107 students from the Political Science Association and Students’ Parliament of Royal College Colombo had the distinct honour of meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat, yesterday (29).

     


    For the first time, a Sri Lankan platform at the COP 28 Conference.
    Three Ministers and two opposition MPs will accompany the President.
