Hog Deer on the Verge of Extinction

Hog deer, which belongs to the Family Cervidae is also called Ceylon Hog Deer, Paddy-field Deer and Swamp Deer and its scientific name is Axis porcinus. According to the 2007 IUCN Redlist, it has been listed under Endangered species.
