Colombo Fashion Week (HSBC CFW) the backbone of Sri Lanka’s fashion design industry, continues its ongoing endeavour to build promising young fashion design talent in the country with its CFW Day. The CFW team recently hosted its third CFW Day at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. The University is one of the country's leading technological higher education institutes that continuously excels’ both locally and globally.

Amãna Takaful PLC was awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the ‘Islamic Finance Entity of the Year’ category at the Sri Lanka Islamic Banking and Finance (SLIBFI) Awards held recently. At a gala ceremony held in Colombo, the composite insurer was also recognized for its unique hospitalisation cover ‘KruthaGuna’ which won the prestigious ‘Product of the Year’ award.
