Sri Lankan Government refutes allegations made by Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe with regard to signing of Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to reduce the resources for free education.

Addressing a media conference held at the Police Headquarters Tuesday (27), Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that one of the suspects Sandalinga Raja Dushanthan had joined the LTTE Political Wing in the year 1994. He had extended his full support to the revival of the LTTE outfit. The name given to him by the LTTE was Mullichelvam. SSP Ajith Rohana said that there was an open warrant and a red notice issued by the Interpol on him.
