Ceylon Chamber Launches BCCS Awards 2024
August 07, 2024The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce launched the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability (BCCS) Awards 2024 at a seminar to brief prospective applicants on the Award process for the year 2024. Held this year for the twenty-first consecutive year, the BCCS Awards, which champion corporate sustainability in an increasingly environmentally vulnerable world, are one of the most anticipated events in the corporate calendar.
National Organic Control Unit (NOCU) - the competent authority for Organic Agriculture in Sri Lanka, established under the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) - launched its initiative to promote Organic Agriculture islandwide recently.
State Minister for Rural Road Development Sivanesathurai Santhirakanthan, announced that the final phase of the national program to develop 100,000 km of road is expected to be completed with funding from the next budget.
