President Mahinda Rajapakse  declared open the Premakeerthi de Alwis Mawatha, Thursday morning.  The road between  the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation and the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation in Colombo 7 was renamed as Premakeerthi de Alwis Mawatha.

The following squad was selected by the National Selectors of SLC for the above tournament.

Minister of Postal Services Jeevan Kumaratunga stated that an artiste should possess a sharp and sensitive intellect to grasp and convey social issues to the audience.  

“I am pleased of the performance of the delegation of 119 companies and businesses that I led to Kunming. I commend EDB for this successful facilitation effort” said  Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka on Thursday (31) in Colombo.
