Showers or thundershowers will occur in most parts of the island, particularly after 2.00 p.m.

Showers can be expected in the Jaffna District and Western coastal area during the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (above 75mm) can be expected at some places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Mullativu District.
