Two more RO plants opened

Sri Lanka Navy opened two more Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants produced by the Navy Research and Development Unit at Vidyadhara Pirivena in Anuradhapura and Morawaka, Deniyaya, on 13th June.

The RO Plants installed in Morawaka and at Vidyadhara Pirivena will provide clean drinking water for about 600 residents and 100 apprentices respectively.

 

To date, the Navy had installed 211 RO systems in different parts of the country facilitating over 102,685 families and 76,520 school children with safe drinking water.
