The Maldivian Vice President Faisal Naseem called on President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat today (02).

The ‘Attaché Case’, Presidential Dispatch Bag of international standard designed by the Directorate of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers of the Sri Lanka Army, was handed over to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, by Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (02).

A discussion was held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (01) under the patronage of President's Senior Adviser on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff Sagala Rathnayake on the utilization of land in Monaragala, Kotiyagala and Kabilitta areas for farming to face the food crisis in the future. These lands were previously reserved for reforestation.
